4-Day Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire Parks

05:00 AM – Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport.

06:00 AM – Arrival and check-in at the airport.

08:00 AM – Flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti.

10:30 AM – Arrival at Seronera Airstrip. Meet our guide, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and proceed for a game drive.

13:00 PM – Stop for lunch.

14:00 PM – Continue with the afternoon game drive.

17:00 PM – Arrival at the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

The day begins at 5:00am (pick-up time depends on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), when our driver will transfer you to the airport for your 8:00am flight to the Serengeti.

You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip at 10:40am, where your driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you. From here, you will start your first game drive. At midday, you will stop for lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive until evening. Later, you will head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania, covers approximately 15,000km² (5,800mi²). It is home to more than 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and around 500 bird species. During the Dry season, vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra dominate the landscape. The northern Serengeti also supports rich resident wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles and the rare oribi antelope.

While the park is famed for its majestic large mammals, keep an eye out for the smaller wonders of the ecosystem—colorful agama lizards basking on rocks, rock hyraxes scurrying across isolated granite kopjes, and a variety of industrious dung beetles. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the diversity, with around 500 species recorded—from the towering ostrich and the quirky secretary bird of the grasslands to black eagles soaring gracefully above the Lobo Hills.

After breakfast at 07:00AM, we will journey to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into this magnificent natural wonder for a full-day game drive. Renowned as one of the world’s most densely populated wildlife areas, the crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.

Thanks to its year-round water supply and abundant grazing, Ngorongoro Crater supports a remarkable variety of wildlife. Expect to see herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The crater is also famous for its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a keen eye to spot.

07:00AM. After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its striking landscapes and iconic ancient baobab trees. The park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering a unique opportunity to observe the dynamics of elephant families in their natural habitat.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, guided by recent wildlife sightings. While predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be elusive, the park teems with herbivores—including giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and more—ensuring incredible wildlife viewing throughout.

02:00PM, exite the park to Arisha airport for your 17:30 flight to Zanzibar, upon arrival in Zanzibar you will meet with pur driver and transferred to your hotel
