07:30AM, After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation for the journey to Tarangire National Park, around two and a half hours away via well-maintained roads. Named after the Tarangire River, this park becomes a vital water source during the dry season, drawing large herds of elephants and other wildlife. You may also spot giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, and predators like lions and leopards.
Tarangire is renowned for its impressive birdlife, hosting one of the highest diversities of bird species in the world. The landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees, some over a thousand years old, adding to the park’s unique beauty.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated spot within the park. In the afternoon, you'll continue your wildlife viewing before heading to your next accommodation in Karatu, where you’ll settle in and prepare for the next day of your adventure.

After breakfast, you'll depart from Karatu and head toward the Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife areas. As you enter the Serengeti, keep an eye out for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and a wide variety of birdlife.
The Serengeti’s expansive plains support an incredible diversity of animals, including rare species like the serval and the endangered African wild dog. A game drive through this legendary landscape provides excellent opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.

Today, you'll travel from the Central Serengeti to Ndutu, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem and renowned as the heart of the wildebeest calving season. Along the way, you'll enjoy game drives across sweeping savannahs, where you may spot herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo, often shadowed by predators such as lions and cheetahs.
From December to March, Ndutu becomes a prime location to witness the annual migration and the remarkable calving season, when thousands of wildebeest give birth. This attracts a high concentration of predators, including hyenas, jackals, and big cats, creating the chance to observe dramatic wildlife interactions.
You'll spend the day immersed in this dynamic landscape, with opportunities to see newborn animals and the raw beauty of nature in action. As evening falls, you'll continue to your accommodation in Ndutu, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay amid the wilderness.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll set out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region. This area offers a mix of habitats—swamps, woodlands, and open savannah—each supporting a wide variety of wildlife. You’ll witness vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, sometimes stretching as far as the eye can see. The low, haunting calls of the wildebeest add to the atmosphere of this remarkable landscape.
During a brief but dramatic period, typically in February, thousands of female wildebeests give birth in a synchronized event that sees over half a million calves born on the open plains. With minimal cover in the short grass, predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards are never far behind. Newborn calves are on their feet within minutes and can usually keep up with the herd within a few days—an incredible feat of survival.
After a full day of exploration and wildlife encounters, you'll return to your tented camp for dinner and a well-earned overnight stay.

This morning, you’ll travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to spot more wildlife along the way—giraffes are often seen browsing on the green slopes. By midday, you’ll arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater, just in time for lunch.
Your first view of the crater reveals what feels like a lost world. Hidden within the steep volcanic walls is a diverse ecosystem featuring open savannah, patches of acacia forest, and sparkling lakes and wetlands. Formed 2 to 3 million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, the crater is now home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife.
Descending into the crater is a scenic experience. On the crater floor, you’ll find large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, along with over 500 species of birds. This area also offers one of the best chances to see the endangered black rhino in the wild.
After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, you'll continue to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
